Destination Wedding - Cabo, Mexico
I have this rule. It's probably the only rule I can confidently say I've never broken or bent. Always, and I mean, ALWAYS keep your passport up to date. This job is why. I was honored to be asked to fly on down to Cabo, Mexico as the second photographer for this wedding. The intimate gathering took place at the gorgeous organic farm-to-table restaurant and wedding venue, Los Tamarindos. This wedding was so much fun. The bride and groom were relaxed and everyone just moved through the day together in wonderful supportive ways, it really was a fantastic day. They can all dance like mofo's too, which, in my book is A+. This was a whirlwind trip of traveling, scouting, and checking that our plan matched our actual surroundings now that we were on the ground running and providing photography coverage for three wedding events the Bride and Groom were hosting. There was very little downtime despite the romantic setting, but yes I dipped my toe in the pool and checked "ate a taco in a pool" off my bucket list. Big shout-out to the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, your staff is amazing. Everything else was impeccable too but your staff needs top billing here. If anyone else wants to get married here, my passport is ready.
